Contour Calculator and CAD Reader
The contour calculator can be used to create complex contours, even those with partially defined geometry elements, directly on the CNC. The off-line CAD reader software can be used to convert the DXF files of a CAD system into the contour calculator format.
Machine tool operator's advantage:
- Contour calculator allows a CNC shopfloor programmer to define complex or simple shapes quickly from a part drawing. The contour does not require all geometric information.
- CAD reader allows you to import a CAD-generated DXF file into the program format the control needs. The contour calculator can be used to edit this once loaded into the CNC.
